Caterpillar holds supplier summit at KM 20 Workshop
Caterpillar held a supplier summit at Metro Machinery's Km20 workshop June 15th for its MTTT factory in Rayong,
scheduled for opening in late 2012. A Metro Machinery's D6R Track-Type Tractors was also displayed at the summit
for suppliers to see. Metro Machinery Chairman Khun Thongsai has provided full support to Caterpillar activities in
Thailand .In an address to the suppliers, Chairman Khun Thongsai advised suppliers to produce consistent quality
components and proceed with business integrity and they may have long-term business with Caterpillar as Metro
Machinery has done until Metro Machinery can represent Caterpillar in Thailand for more than 34 years in addition
to being awarded with a dealership in Laos, Cambodia and Southwest China. Caterpillar is also building another
factory in Rayong producing underground mining equipment(UGM).
