Established on May 19, 1976 and appointed as
Thailand's authorized sole Caterpillar dealer in the following year, Metro Machinery Co.,
Ltd. has successfully represented Caterpillar and become the market leader in the heavy
equipment industry since then. Metro Machinery or commonly known as "Metro-Cat"
offers an entire range of Caterpillar heavy equipment for construction, mining,
earth-moving, material handling, agriculture, petroleum, marine and power generation
industries as well as excellent product support to ensure that our products and
after-sales services with spare parts availability and skilled technicians and mechanics
satisfy your needs and expectations.
Headquartered in downtown Phra Khanong, Bangkok, Metro-Cat
employs over 750 people, posted in Bangkok, its suburbs and in the provinces across the
countries where some 30 Metro-Cat branches are located. Some 300 Metro-Cat fully-equipped
vehicles are employed to service customers' machines, engines and generator sets wherever
they are.
